It is pritti ansome's friendly demeanour and the lovely, relaxed atmosphere in our unique seperate children's hair salon that keep customers returning again and again. Our no-gimmicks approach is the perfect way to introduce children to having their hair cut, and enables them to progress towards the sometimes intimidating environment of an adult salon with comfort and ease.

I have been visiting the lovely family team at Pritti Ansome for 7 years now. The only bad haircut I have had in that time is when I made an awful decision to instead get my hair cut at a bargain salon in Cambridge!
I really look forward to my appointments. I have a good ol' catch up with Amanda, Steve and Kerry. Amanda never fails to give me an excellent cut and/or colour. I like changing my hair and she has styled it from pixie cut to shoulder length, put foils in, a dark tint with light flashes at the ends, and most recently a choppy slighty inverted bob. I always get plenty of compliments.
I highly recommend Pritti Ansome. It was especially useful when my two sons were toddlers. I would sit downstairs so the boys could play with the large train set and other toys safely contained by a safety gate. I had my hair cut whilst being able to watch them, in a very relaxed ultra child-friendly environment.
Finally, it is amazing value for money and is beautifully decorated.

This place is the best for your little ones! Brilliant with kids, the owners make you and them feel at ease; toys, biscuits and pick a dvd to watch, plus a cuppa for mum! My 21 month old has been twice and clearly feels happy to be there as she sits watching Peppa and eating a biccie whilst having her hair cut! X

The best salon I've ever experienced. Kerry always does a good job on my hair, and the team are so welcoming. Their laid back and homely salon is much nicer than the ultra modern salons who charge an absolute fortune.
